Namiki Emperor Chinkin Tiger

The Namiki Emperor Chinkin Tiger is made using the Chinkin technique, in which the design is meticulously hand-carved into the pen material and then filled with gold.

The Namiki Emperor fountain pen is further enhanced with an 18-carat gold nib engraved with the silhouette of Mount Fuji. This stunning No. 50 18K gold nib is exceptionally large, eclipsing the nibs of all other writing instruments, earning it the nickname "No. 50 Jumbo."

The Namiki Emperor uses a dropper filling system, boasting an impressive ink capacity of 6ml. It incorporates the same ink stop function as the original Namiki dropper pens from the 1930s, ensuring a regulated ink flow and preventing leakage. To fill the pen, you use the included dropper to fill the barrel, after which the section is screwed back into place. The ink is then contained in the drum. Turning the knob at the end of the pen opens a valve, allowing ink to flow from the barrel to the tank connected to the writing section. When the valve is closed again, only the ink in the tank is available for writing. Once the tank runs out, it can be refilled from the drum.
