The Montblanc Writers Edition Homage to Sir Arthur Conan Doyle Limited Edition is dedicated to one of the most famous crime novelists and creator of the unforgettable detective Sherlock Holmes. Made of precious blue-gray resin, the edition recalls the gloomy and foggy atmosphere of London, where Sherlock Holmes used to solve his cases.

The body and hood of the Montblanc Sir Arthur Conan Doyle are decorated with a Scottish motif that echoes Holmes' coat and part of the historic map of London. The initials JB are found under the clip in the shape of a PVD-coated magnifying glass, a tribute to Joseph Bell: the man who inspired the character of Sherlock Holmes. The Montblanc emblem in precious resin dominates the hood. The handcrafted Au 750 solid gold nib features an engraving with flying dinosaurs from "The Lost World" around the portrait of the father of "Professor Challenger" and "Sherlock Holmes".

For the fountain pen version, the filling is strictly by piston.

The roller is characterized by a cap closure while the ballpoint pen has a rotation mechanism.
