At the heart of this edition is Tippel's  1899 Grundfarben poster, created for Pelikan's first poster competition.  This work exemplifies the powerful dialogue between artistic expression and brand communication at the dawn of modern advertising. This edition features a subtle yet expressive detail from Tippel's original work. The clouds of the 1899 poster have been reinterpreted as an abstract  , rhythmic motif decorating the barrel of the fountain pen.
The soft shapes catch the light, creating depth, movement and a delicate sparkle. The motif, framed by warm brown semi-transparent resin elements , harmoniously combines historic artwork with contemporary craftsmanship.
Made with the sophisticated Aurora process , the barrel features a finely engraved guilloché , covered with several layers of lacquer, creating a luminous surface that enhances the refined decoration.
