The Montblanc Meisterstück Romeo & Juliet collection draws inspiration from Shakespeare's tragic story of love and fate, reinterpreting the passion, luminosity and duality of this famous literary work through refined materials, symbolic details and the Maison's distinctive craftsmanship.

Rich in metaphors and emotional contrasts, the story of Romeo and Juliet is the conceptual heart of the collection. To bring the themes of the play to life, Montblanc artisans have transformed Shakespeare's narrative art and its most powerful symbols into intricate design elements that appear in the six editions of the collection.

Crafted from deep petrol blue precious resin inspired by the shaded intimacy of the Capulet orchard, it features a leaf pattern on the cap and platinum-plated hardware.  The top of the cap bears the letter "M" of Montague, along with the Montblanc emblem in red precious resin and the striking spiny branch motif that also decorates the cone. The rhodium-coated Au 585 solid gold nib is engraved with the inscription "Romeo".
