The Montblanc Muses collection celebrates the 100th anniversary of the birth of the great soprano Maria Callas, one of the most important opera singers of the twentieth century. The Montblanc Maria Callas edition emphasizes one of her favorite colors, turquoise, in the precious resin of the body and cap, while the slim and elegant silhouette reflects the graceful beauty of Maria Callas. To evoke his homeland surrounded by the sea, Greece, the platinum-coated clip is embellished with a stone whose color resembles the bright turquoise blue of the Aegean Sea. The detail of a costume taken from Bellini's "Norma", one of her most iconic "bel canto" roles, is reflected in the laurel leaf motif that wraps around the edition's platinum-coated cone, along with the embossing of the renowned soprano's signature. As for the fountain pen, the nib is handmade in solid gold Au 585 rhodium-coated and bears the embossing of the iconic feline gaze highlighted by the black pencil, so typical of its image, as well as the name inseparable from Maria Callas: "La Divina".
