Delta Indigenous People Simbu

The result of careful craftsmanship, Delta Indigenous People Simbu is a fountain pen that pays homage to the Simbu tribe, native to the central highlands of Papua New Guinea. Hand-turned from bars filled with black resin, it is wrapped in a skeletal armour in solid 925 silver, made with the lost-wax casting technique and finished entirely by hand: a delicate interweaving of silver bones that recalls the body paintings with which the Simbu evoke ancestral spirits and instil fear in enemies.

The clip, also in 925 silver, is inspired by the shape of the ceremonial drum, a symbol of the rhythm of the community and a central instrument in the collective rituals of the Hagen Mountain Festival, where clans come together to celebrate tribal identity through dances, sounds and masks.

From a technical point of view, the fountain pen is equipped with a fixed piston filling system integrated into the barrel. The 14-carat solid gold nib (size #8), paired with a red ebonite feeder, ensures smooth and responsive writing.
